Terry & Margaret Reeves

Terry became involved with mission work while in high school in Huntsville, Alabama. While in college he was able to participate in several mission trips, both stateside and abroad. Later, after graduation from college, he became involved with Torch Missions early in its conception.

Torch was established in 1988 and Terry came on board in 1991.

During the past 20 years working with Torch Missions, Terry has led multiple groups to various parts of Honduras, including Tegucigalpa, Choluteca, Comayagua, Danli, and Santa Rosa de Copan. In addition to Honduras, Terry has led teams to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Brazil, and Guatemala. His teams routinely include medical, food and clothing, visitation, construction, and benevolent projects, along with VBS, Bible studies, and gospel meetings.

Terry is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with a BS in Education. He has taught middle and high school classes for 30 years at Christian schools in Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida. He has also served as a youth minister at congregations in Florida and Tennessee. Terry is married to Margaret, also a high school teacher, who is very active in Torch Missions. They have one son, Nathan, who has been on multiple trips to Honduras and now serves on the board of directors of IRC. Nate is happily married and lives in Sarasota, FL. He and his wife Karen have 2 children.
